Acetate Pop Up Card

This is my first acetate pop up card. I used strips of plastic cut from a sizzix die package. Patty Bennett has a downloadable .pdf file with all the measurements. I used some Stampin' Up Christmas DSP teamed with Garden Green Cardstock. It is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card! I AM SOOOOO SORRY. I originally listed Sandi MacIver as the author w/ instructions BUT it was PATTY BENNETT. Well let's face it, they are both sooooo extraordinary, it's an easy mix-up. Again Sorry! BTW I dressed it up a bit! Thanks for stopping by! Be sure and check out Retired Stamp Sets; I have added more! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

CD Jewelry

Good Morning: Well something a little different this am. I was digging thru my 'stash' trying to decide which retired stamp sets to keep and which ones to sell and found this cute little pin I made probably over 2 years ago. It is a cute idea and just decided to share it with you. It is a old CD cut with kitchen shears, embossed and then I drilled a small hole and attached the cute little dolphin. I used Crystal Effects to adhere a pin back. Hope you like it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Candy Holder (altered)

This pattern was originally on Deann's Blog and was a coffee pouch. I made it and used it for chocolate covered marshmallow Santas MY FAVORITE!. If you visit her blog, there are instructions and measurements for the pouch. I used Old Olive as a base and it was just the right size. Easy/Peasy! REMEMBER... check the top of my blog for RETIRED SETS for SALE. I have added more to the list. Check it out. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Challenge - too late

I started this card yesterday while waiting for everyone to return for 'left-overs' and forgot to post it for the Stamping 411 Challenge so here it is anyway! I love these colors together, Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter. I spritzed them with the Shimmering Gold Stampin Up paint for the extra glimmer! With Gold Ink I stamped the Medallion and cut it out using my Circle Scissors. The card is accented with ribbon to match. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Woven Ribbon Wreath

With all Thanksgiving over with, I decided to make a card this morning after cleaning up the rest of the mess! It was lots of fun and had family that we had not seen in over seven years. Well I had not seen them. OK... again I saw this on someone's blog and can't find which one! Gotta get a better filing system! In fact there was a video to go with it. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I will be happy to post the link. It is really cute. I did not however use Stampin' Up ribbon. This was my first one and wanted to make sure it would be ok. You use a 2 yard piece of ribbon folded over in the middle. Hope you like it and when I find where it came from I will post it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Three CUTE Punchie Cards

These cards were cased - the Penguin was a Jackie Topa original and featured on Late Night Stampers. The other two are by Kim Score She has a great website for Punchies and has lots of patterns for sale. I saw these and just had to make them; they were soooo cute! And I just wanted to share before Thanksgiving and say to all my cyber friends - HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and yours! Have a wonderful day with friends and family. Until next time! Hodge Podge

I know these tew things are not related but wanted to share before I'm off to the grocery store for my last minute Turkey Day shopping. The card is made using one of Stampin' Up's Definitely Decorative stencils. I am really beginning to love these. (Here's a secret - Stampin' Up is coming out with lots more of these fun stencils!!!) I used Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry ink sponged on to Very Vanilla then I sponged the decorations in Whisper White Craft Ink. Quick and easy card but elegant! The ornaments were done using last year's Stampin' Up green and red glitter and I used Glorious Green in one ornament with the green glitter and Real Red in the other. They turned out great. Love this technique. Good luck finding the clear ornaments - our local craft stores are all out! They are really pretty though and I like them without adding a rub-on or words. Great gift idea! Just having FUN! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stocking Stuffer

What a cute idea for a stocking stuffer or a small rememberance gift? There is a story behind this one. I struggled measuring, cutting, etc. and made the pink one (I have 2 granddaughters and thought they'd like this). I even made an acetate top. After considering all the issues, it dawned on me... Lo and Behold ... the matchbox die is perfect! Three Lip Gloss (chapsticks) fit perfectly. I even cut the acetate slider top. I never realized there were so many lip gloss brands out there. These are all candy flavored. Would even be a good little gift for a guy using 'male-type' colors. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

CASE'd Cards for November

Yep all these cards were CASE'd and naturally I didn't write down from where. I saw them 'blog hopping'! There are so many beautiful cards out there and soooo tempting to CASE - why re-invent the wheel. They are all gorgeous and anyone would be proud to send them and so very grateful to receive them. Thank you for the inspiration! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Altered Altoid

A friend of mine has been looking for Gift Card Holders and I made this quickly this am to show her! The little boxes are a perfect fit for a gift card and so easy to decorate. Hope you like it. I used Holiday Lounge DSP and Sahara Sand Cardstock. Gotta run and get inky again! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Another Candy Bar Holder

These are so cute! and a very nice remembrance gift. Great for office, friends, neighbors, mail man, your man in brown! One has a large Reese Cup Bar and one has a Lindor Chocolate bar. These are inexpensive but can be really dressed up. I feel in love with the Hunter Green and Bravo Burgundy spritzed with the Gold Shimmer paint by Stampin' Up. Just a fun project! Until next time! Gifts for the Office

My friend gave me these great mailers a few months ago and now I found a use. I made these for the guys at work, Snowman Soup. Hope they like them. Then I was at the grocery story this am and found these large candy bars so I made this one for the Hershey Bar. I also love this stamp set that happens NOT to belong to me. I guess I'll have to get it after all! (Wandering Words - Mini-catalog Page 16 - Item 116507 - $25.95) Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Sneak Peek @ Punchie Class

This is a sneak peek at the Punchie Class for tomorrow night. We're doing a mouse & penguin the making a card out of them. I will post the completed cards Wednesday. We're making the cards so you can use any sentiment! The lattice ornament is made using Stampin' Up's Lattice Exclusive die by puttig four of them together. This post is for my friend, Barbara who is always looking for projects for her craft classes at church! This ornament would be great adorned with some glitter and/or some 1/2 pearls. What fun! Thanks for stopping by! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Glitzy Ornaments

There was such a good response to the Glittery Christmas Ornaments I made a few more. I used Crushed Curry reinker, Bermuda Bay reinker, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango (retired). The Tango ornament is bigger and was frosted but it looks great too. They are so much fun to make. Just get the clear glass ornaments and use reinkers & fine glitter and Voila' a beautiful ornament and a great gift idea. Since I took this picture, I did a Mauve Mist reinker (long time retired) and it really looks good; very vintage! Hope you enjoy them. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Our New Baby

I ordered the Holiday Post Card Kit from Stampin' Up. This is not the picture we'll be using but I just had to make one to see how it looks. This is Jacob, my new grandbaby! and I love this kit. Everything you need to make 20 gorgeous cards to showcase your new additions, family, pets, etc! They are so nice, complete with envelopes. (Ain't he cute?) Until next time! Beautifully Boxed Ornament!

This beautifully boxed ornament would be a perfect teacher, friend, neighbor gift! The box was created using 4 scalloped Stampin' Up Big Shot Envelopes, a strip of DSP and I made the top using some 'recycled' acrylic packaging! The ornament was inspired by Monica Weaver's 12 weeks of Christmas and can be found on her blog. The ornament is made using approx. 35 drops of reinker swirling it around inside the ball then add 2 teaspoons of fine glitter and shake till covered. Then using the Icicle Rubons for decoration on the outside of the ornament! What a super sparkling Christmas gift. BTW the glass ornaments are from a craft store chain. The gift tag was made using the Stampin' Up ornament punch. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'
