Stamping 411 CORRECT Challenge

Here's the correct version of the Challenge. The other card was made the wrong direction Sorry! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamping 411 Challenge

Well boy did i goof this one - it's going the wrong way! O well will put it out there anyway. I made this without re-looking at the instructions. Taken with Teal is the base and Pumpkin pie, whisper white and a strip of the Sweet Pea DSP in the center. I used Flower Fusion (Pumpkin Pie) and a Sherbet Button (they are simply gorgeous and so soft) I guess you figured I just received my order with the Sherbet Buttons! The edges were punched using the new Stampin Up Scallop edge punch. Teeny Tiny Wishes completes the card with a Just for You sentiment so the card can be used for many occasions. Next time I will look before I leap! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Mary Jo's Challenge 115

Challenge TSSC115 - Mary Jo's Monday Sketch Challenge for today! It's a little plain but I had some Old Olive DSP scraps so naturally I used them. Late Night Stampers Challenge was a sympathy card so I just combined the two. It grows on ya! I used Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, a touch of Bravo Burgundy. Stamp Set was Wings of Friendship. TFL Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Recycle

A few years ago we received phone books with magnets on them for someone's advertising. I kept them (naturally) and they are exactly 4 x 4 and very thin but effective. I glued one to a 4x4 coaster with Only Orange CS on top and then cut with the Stampin' Up Fancy Flower die. I cut a Night of Navy smaller flower then printed a picture of my beautiful grandson. After punching the picture using the 1 1/4" circle I cut a 1 3/8 circle and adhered it to the middle. THUS a UVA (University of Virginia) magnet featuring my future football player. They are big UVA fans! He has on his UVA shirt but you can't see it! Therefore I recycled and made a cute little refrigerator magnet! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Goat-itude

Ellen (Ellen Kemper) has done it again! I asked if she'd make me a goat for my friend that has a goat farm and she DID IT! Here is the card I made from her example. I plan on making more of these and I know when my friend sees it she'll need lots and lots! Naturally these are all punches! I used Gretchen Barron's cloud technique for the background and computer generated font; slivered up the grass and Voila'! We have Stamp A Stack today and tomorrow so I probably won't post again until Monday! Spring has decided to take a nap and it is really chilly here today so a good day for stampin'! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Spray Starch Technique

And you thought Spray Starch was only for ironing... This was an older technique in the Technique Junkies form February 2005. It is quick and easy and the results are beautiful. The pearl ex is much more defined in real life! I used Garden Green, Basic Black and Lovely Lilac cardstock and the new scallop edge punch for accent. Asian Artistry was the Stampin Up stamp set (Hostess Level II). If you haven't joined, visit Tecnique Junkies and see what you're missing. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

York Peppermints

Aren't these little polar bears filled with York Peppermints so cool & refreshing! Cindee Wilkinson turned me on to the 1 x 8 cello bags and there are so many things you can do with them. These were made using the Night of Navy Scallop circle and the 1 1/4 inch Whisper white face with 1/2 the small oval as the nose & the 1/2 inch circles for ears. They are so easy and quick to make and such FUN! There are so many holidays and occasions you can use these! You can purchase the 1x8 cello bags from from clearenvelopes.com. There are two places but both are the same... clearbags.com is for wholesale customers and clearenvelopes.com is for retail. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Another Turtle

I found this little guy when I was searching for punchie turtles for a friend of mine. If you recognize him, please email me and I will give you credit on my blog. I searched so much I can't remember where. It's all punches and I love him! The saying is computer generated... It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.-- Confucius. Card is done using Kraft CS with some older Kraft printed paper and Crushed Curry for accents w/ ribbon. Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment! I love 'em all! Until next time! Happy Turtle

If I am not mistaken I ran across this turtle image on Ellen Kemper's blog as well. If not, please let me know and I'll fix the post. She is sooooo cute. I just made it into a note card using Chocolate Chip and DSP from the Sweet Pea collection. Buttons are Chocolate Chip but on the photo look black. Hope you like her! (love the bonnet) Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Last Dwarf Card!

Sleepy looked so lonesome laying on my table so had to make this last Dwarf card. The inside reads: Rest, relax and bounce back! I could not think of anything else so if anyone has something better, let me know and I'll make it. These were all made first by Ellen Kemper I used Kraft cardstock and Bordering BLue paper and computer generated fonts for compliment. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Have Car will travel...

This cute little car was made with punches. I thought it would be good for Father's Day, birthday, retirement or the grad that gets a car! I used the Wide oval then punched it out with the large oval for the top of the car. I used the wide oval for the body and a double punched gray for the bumper then 3 window word punches glued together for the tires; 1 “ punch in red and ¾ “ punch in vellum for the lights. It is cuter in person BTW. The background was brayered. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Carrots!

I bought these little wrapped carrots at our LCS and just wanted to dress them up. Mary Jo Price-Williams inspired this little carrot holder made using the large Stampin Up scalloped circle rolled with the bunny stamp from Eggcoutrements (Item 118556) Stamp Set. The carrot is Only Orange and the top knot is made with Glorious Green. Just a note: I have added lots of Sale stuff on my other blog - OnLine Extras if you'd like to check it out. Don’t forget we are winding down with Sale-a-Bration…..if you still have things on you wish list…there is still time. You can shop 24/7 at my online store or contact me and I’ll be happy to place your order. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

So very...

Another Ellen Kemper inspiraton. I used HAPPY for this card. The inside reads... HAPPY to see you feeling better! These little guys are so cute and I have two more to go. Any ideas? - Dopey (I can think of something but not suitable for internet publication LOL) anyway I have Dopey and Sleepy left and will try to do something for them later. If you mised the first two posts please look down about 2 or 3 posts and you'll see the other guys. These would be great addtions for scrapbook pages, gifts, cards etc... I used Sweet Pea Designer Paper with Only Orange (since the hat was orange); a snippet of ribbon and computer wording. Bermuda Bay is the base for my card. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Bashful

This is Bashful! Another ELlen Kemper creation. The card reads - Don't be ... Bashful. If you need anything just let me know! Ellen started a Get Well basket and this saying was to be the card. These characters are so cute. Now I have to think of other things to go with the rest of the 7 dwarfs! LOL I used Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry Cardstock with a sheet from the FREE Sale-A-Brations Welcome Neighborhood paper. Sale-A-brations is almost over and last chance to get your FREE Stampin' Up product. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Mary Jo's Challenge

Finally had time to do a challenge on Mary Jo's blog(TSSC113). Come on play along. I am not really happy with this one but it's 'spring-y' and since today is the last day of winter, it was time to make something with all those great colors. The mat is Certainly Celery with So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and a piece of the Tea Party Designer Paper. I used the Eggcoutrements stamp set and accented with a small satin bow. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Ta - Da...

Drum Roll - PLEASE... These are totally CASE'd from Ellen Kemper. You can search her blog for 'dwarfs'. She has some of the most amazing punch art I have ever seen. It is so detailed and all Stampin' Up punches. I made these three today. Had to run to the store to get the soup, kleenex & Tylenol but it was worth the trip. Sneezy on the Kleenex box says When You Feel...(Sneezy) then ACHOO is on the band. Doc is on the Soup can and says Just what the DOC ordered! Grumpy is on a card with a travel container of Tylenol and the inside says: Feeling Grumpy? Take two - don't call me in the morning. I prefer to sleep in. Hope you feel better FAST! These are soooo cute I just had to make them and they were so fun. Go visit her blog, you will really fall in love with it if you like punch art! Ellen made these to put in a 'get-well' basket. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Chubby Cheeks

Another 'adorable' moment! This is a layout I did for a color challenge on Carol Ann's Blog but I'm not entering it. I just wanted to scrap those pics. I finally took a picture of this using the camera rather than the scanner and the colors are prettier; Dusty Durango, Not Quite Navy & Old Olive. There are so many pictures and no time to scrap them all. I used all Stampin' Up cardstock & the scallop edge punch, star punch & buttons/brads. Thanks for stopping by! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Happy St. Patty's Day

Today is special for me since my first child was born on St. Patty's Day and I won't tell you how long ago! So Happy Birthday to Charlie! This is my grandson, Jacob, and his first St. Patty's Day! He's five months old now. I used all SU paper and some clovers from a swap my DD did years ago and I just found them. The shamrock was made using the Big Heart Punch by Stampin' Up. Hope everyone has a great day! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamping 411 Challenge

I made this card for the Stamping 411 challenge and everything that could go wrong did so am posting it anyway. I used Shades of Stampin' Up Spring Designer Paper, Pretty in Pink & So Saffron cardstock. TFL Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

3 x 6 cards & Easter Treats

My cyber-friend, Cindee Wilkinson was the inspiration for the Easter Treats. Be sure and stop by her blog, she is a very talented lady! I used small Jelly Beans. Each 1 x 8 cello bag contains 20 beans! I put an egg on one, chickie on one and a decorated egg on one. Great for little toppers and hand-outs to your friends for Easter. The three 3 x 6 cards were also inspired by Cindee. She sent me the one on the left and I made the other two after receiving hers. They are really cute and Stampin' Up makes the envelopes 6 1/2 x 3 3/4 and they are a perfect fit. The cards are made from the pad of 6 x 6 paper you get with Sale-a-Brations, Welcome Neighbor. There are 72 sheets and it takes 2 per card. You have to give them a try. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

More Critters...

I was featured on Gretchen Barron's Blog today and I am so honored. I made Berta the Rabbit to go with her Critters. Well my DIL came over yesterday and said 'there's NO FROG in the mix' well... I have lots of Frog collectors in my family thus Fredrick the Frog was conceived. He's still chasing that fly! LOL Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

My John Deere...

I never knew there were John Deere boots until my little grandson received a new pair so I scrapped this page featuring his boots! The tractor is from the Cricut Cartridge My World (size 4"). I left some room for some journaling his Mom can add later. (12x12 layout) I love the colors. Letters are sizzlits die (stampin' up) as well as the flourishes. Until next time! Ellie and Polished Stone

It’s the butterfly punch, 1 ¾ circle, 1 3/8 circle, 2 – ¾ for feet. I punched a wide oval and then punched it again to form a trunk and then punched a tiny bit in and made the tail so it is all punches. The card is a 'belated' birthday card and I made from punches this Ellie the Elephant. Easy, Peasy! The candleholder was punched from the Flower Folds Bigz Die (Stampin' Up). I did the polished stone technique on a piece of thin metal (silver) and then cut the flowers and embossed them thru the Big Shot. I stacked them and used a faux tea light in the center. Would these not be great in greens for St. Patty's Day, Red and Green for Christmas, pastels for spring. TFL Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'
