Stylish Blogger Award

I was chosen by Kris Sobolik with the Stylish Blogger Award. Thank you so much, I am truly honored. Be sure and click on her name and check out her awesome blog.
In accepting this award I must do the following:
1- Thank the person that shared this award with me and link it back to their blog.
2- Share eight things about myself.
3- Pass this award on to eight other bloggers that I recently discovered.
4- Leave a comment so they can pass along the recognition!
Eight things about me:
1- I love all paper crafting and stamping (of course). I am a Stampin' Up demo and can't get enough!
2- Hate Housework!
3- Love keeping my one year old grandson and watching him grow and change. Can't wait till he can stamp with me!
4- My newest hobby is reading. Too many books, not enough time!
5- I enjoy getting together with friends to stamp and demo Stampin' Up products. Teaching something new is always a plus.
6- I am finally retired and find I had more time when I worked full-time! I still dabble in computers but things change so quickly, it's hard to keep up. I still love fixing a problem when one arises.
7- Gray' Anatomy is second only to my favorite TV show, Army Wives. We were in the Navy 20 years so I can relate.
8- I love seeing all the inspiration on the 'net', learning new techniques thru Technique Junkies (being on the Design Team). Getting comments on my projects means alot to me!
My Eight Blog finds are:
Kris, Thank you again for choosing me for the Stylish Blogger Award!
Until next time!

First Aid Tin

This is one of the tins we had in a bulk buy recently. It is a great size for this First Aid Kit which contains bandages, gauze, Neosporin, Tylenol, etc. I love the wide red strip ribbon and little charm crown!

Opening for Tic Tacs

I had a few questions about how to get the Tic Tacs out! I hope this helps. I punched a hole in the orange cardstock and then one in the white cardstock. I glued around the opening but left enough open to slide the piece of cardstock with the pull tab on it so it covers the hole! Voila'

Tombo Carrot

I saw this last year and don't remember who originally posted this but this is the plastic piece that the Tombo Snail comes in. RECYCLE! is the key! I put Tic Tac's inside; could not find any orange jelly beans today! The second picture is the pull tab on the back so you can take them out without destroying the card. Just a fun one!
I just love that Blossom Petal Punch. I feel guilty 'cause I was not going to order it but I have made more things out of it other than flowers. It is a great find!

Another Try that Technique

I ran across this tea pot which I really loved. It's a shame it is retired. This technique is called Mini Kissing! Don't you just love it! I attached a teabag inside and I used the Bliss Sale A Brations Set to decorate the pot.

This technique looks really great on a scrapbook page and is best done with scenery but thought I would try it with a card. The image is from Twisted Paper using Stampin' Up Real Red and Basic Black. It's just a fun technique! Thanks for stopping by.

Vintage

This card is not what I started out trying to make but... sometimes that happens. It is Springtime Vintage DSP and a Vanilla Rosette. I wanted to try using the Tulip Embossing Folder on a smaller piece of paper. The card is Very Vanilla, Rose Red and Bashful Blue cardstock. The jury is still out!
