Another Fab Florets

This was done using the set Fabulous Florets. I used my Big Shot to cut the oval and then used the reverse image to sponge the oval where the flower is stamped! I think it makes a great focal point. The mat is Cherry Cobbler. Well the little strips down the side were out of necessity since I got a 'red' fingerprint on the white so I used them to cover it up!
Quick and easy card!
Until next time!

Fabulous Florets

This is one of the stamps from SU. It is in the new catty as well as featured in the Summer Mini. (123027). I stamped the image three times and cut out different levels of the flower then stamped the flower on the cardstock and put the three layers on top using Dimensionals. This technique makes a great 3 D flower!
It was a quick fun card. Then I sprayed it with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz for that little shine!

Plain & Simple

Made this card for one of my Stamp A Stack cards and I just received this set. It is really neat. I love the flowers (Fabulous Florets) and so easy to cut and mount on a dimensional for that 3D effect. The paper, Love Letters, is retiring and the mat is Red Riding Hood accented with a Antique Brad.

Sneak Peak Pennant Die

Isn't he the cutest? I saw this on Valita's Fresh Folds blog but made with 'brand X' so I modified him with Stampin' Up! The hat is from the new Pennant Die and it is rounded but you can't tell on the picture.
The hat is the largest pennant and I scored the sides 1/4 inch in and adhered with sticky strip. The face is cut using the large circle punch. What kid would not love this card! (well adults too!)

Bird from Owl Punch

Believe it or not - these two birds were made from the Owl Punch. Just another way to use it! I used Real Red cardstock and the birds are done with Sahara Sand. Too Cute. This was on Valita's Designs and Fresh Folds. She also does some really great flowers from punches. Check it out sometime. I used the Woodgrain BG stamp for the background with a Designer Paper Mat.

Three Trees

This is the new Stampin' Up Petite Pennants Punch and the Pennant Parade Stamp Set coming July 1. It is really cute! I punched the red from the Glitter Red paper and stamped the trees on Garden Green. You can't see it in the scan BUT I did run a dry embossed line around all the edges 1/4" in; it just does not show in the scan! Clean & Simple! on a Whisper White card with a Real Red Cardstock mat.

Strawberries anyone?

Someone asked me for a strawberry pattern which I had on file from Sherry Brickey so I decided to make the 'wooden' box using Kraft paper from SU and making the berries from Real Red cardstock. I need to put some white dots on them or find some dotted paper or maybe shade them with some ink next time!
They are still cute. Enjoy!

White on White

Well White on White is the name of this technique BUT this is Very Vanilla on Very Vanilla! I am really liking this combination. I used the Level II Hostess set from the Summer Mini for the flower (weed) in Early Expresso and the layers are done using different SU Embossing folders and layered using Dimensionals. A very quick and easy card to make and any sentiment will do.
By the way the small oval is being retired! So better get one while they last!

White on White Pop-Up

Looking thru my computer and things I had saved I found this pattern from Lee Conrey that I downloaded a long time ago. I love the white on white technique and the pop up card. It was fun to make. You still have room to write a message on the inside front or back! Would make a great card for someone's desk. This card is all Whisper White with white ribbon but the camera made it look ivory... go figure!
