Lynn Pratt's Swing Out card

Yep I cased this from one Lynn Pratt did which she calls her Swing Out fold card. It opens up to sit on your desk and when folded fits into a regular envelope! What a great idea and so nice to be able to display it! For directions - CLICK HERE My card was made using Rich Razzleberry CS and the Just Believe Stamp Set.
Hope you enjoy this card.

Gently Falling

Don't you just LOVE this stamp set (Gently Falling 123804)? It is one of the most versatile sets and the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper (124003) is just 'yummy'!
I made the little box that holds 6 cards with matching envelopes. It makes a great gift for anyone on your list! There are two Get Well cards, 2 Sympathy cards and 2 Birthday cards. I used the new Score board from Stampin' Up to make the little box with a sheet of cardstock that is included with each DSP package then I covered it with a piece of Spice Cake! The top is done with a piece of acetate so you can see these beautiful cards!

Singin' In the Rain

Here's Little Jake, who will be two in a couple of weeks, just Singin' in the Rain with Elmo! I guess we are in the last days of summer and he is taking advantage! I used Bashful Blue for the page and you can't see it but there are little umbrella's stamped with White Craft Ink all over the page. I did use stickers for the letters from my old stash.

Try that Technique

Another Thursday means another Technique Challenge from Technique Junkies. This week I have chosen the Inchies Borders from our Stampbooking CD. It is fun, simple and easy! Come on try it with us.
I had a few squares left over so I made a greeting card! I love the colors. Of course, the page is my grandson punching! He's gonna be a great stamper one day.

Cute & Creepy Spider

I made this spider using an empty Stampin Up Brad Container. Ain't he cute? Fill him with Halloween goodies and you've got a great Trick or Treat favor! The 2 1/2" Punch is perfect for punching the top and bottom of the box in Basic black and the legs are double punched Tab Punch.
The other treat container was made using the packing paper that comes in the Stampin' Up orders! RECYCLE! I cut it with the large scallop square; glued it down the sides then ran it thru the Big Shot with the Spider Web embossing folder then crimped the edges. Decorate as desired and Voila' perfect for Trick or Treat!

Another Recycle

My DD gave me this box and I'm really not sure what was in it BUT it has a magnetic lid and would be great to fill with cards as a gift! I used the Frostwwod Lodge Designer Paper from Stampin' Up and sticky strip to decorate the box and cover the writing! I love to recycle!
I am going to fill with cards, envelopes and separate sentiments and use it as a gift! Until next time!

Altoid Box

Any tin mint type box will do! This was an idea from Regina Randri. You use your Stampin' Up Crop a dile to make the holes for the handle and My Design Studio for the luggage stickers. I used Well Worn Designer Paper and Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. It is so cute and will hole a sweet treat, gift card, business cards, bandaids or a little travel kit with safety pins, bandaides, etc. Just a fun little gift.

Sweet Florals

This was stamped with the Sweet Florals SU Background stamp. I stamped it on a 5.5 x 5.5 Confetti Cream SU cardstock then stamped another and cut it out then cut some separate flowers to add dimension. I love this stamp. Thanks for stopping by.

Tumbled Tiles

I know I have been lax on posting so hopefully I can catch up this weekend.
We had a class the other day making tumbled tiles and I am very grateful for all the instructions ladies from Late Night Stampers sent to me.
I used this recipe: Stamp with Stazon; color with Stampin' Up colored pencils; use a BLENDER pen to blend; bake 350 for 20 minutes to set the ink and spray with Krylon Matte. These are Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring. They have been made for years but these are fun to make and make great gifts.

Scrapping

I did these two pages today for Jacob! His Aunt Charlie gave him a sandbox which he seems to have more sand out than in the box. LOL
He loves my Big Shot and cutting paper with the Fiskars. Looks like he is teaching a class, huh? The paper is retired but matched his shirt.

Christmas Advent

Good Mornin' - Well I finished my Advent Calendar! and love it. It was a bit time consuming but well worth it. I tried to follow the one in the mini but made a few minor changes. The hardest part was placing the 25 squares on a 12x12 background but it worked. So your turn...
PS Makes a great gift!

Merry Christmas

I wanted to put candy canes in the stocking but can't find them just yet in the stores!
The holder is made using 2 of the stocking die cuts. I did adhere the Letters to Santa Designer Paper to a piece of cardboard before cutting! Yes and another recycle. I used a round acrylic container that had silk flowers in it as the center container adhered using 1/4" sticky strip and believe me it holds! You can also cut a box to adhere the stockings.
Just a cute decoration to sit on your table; also a good gift item!
Until next time!

Here I go again...

I have been working on some tips and things for my clubs and to stamp some today, I made this little gift out of an empty box my friend gave me! The Sharpie could be replaced with a Stampin' Up marker for a hostess or drawing.
ANOTHER RECYCLE! Hope you like it. The paper is retired!

Another Recycle

Over a year ago my hubby had a five-way heart bypass and they used some type of monitoring thingee on him and the result was a great tall acrylic cylinder that I used to make this wine bottle gift bag!
Well what else do you do with all that left-over stuff? Anyway I thought it made a great gift!

Halloween Treat

Using the Top Note Die cut these are the quicked and cutest little Halloween treats! I thought I had ordered the new It's a Wrap Holidays (122772) Stamp Set but I guess I didn't so now it is at the top of my list. It has the Halloween wrap stamp in it. The design was inspired by Roxy!
I did use one that just says Celebrate until I get the real thing! The paper is the new Halloween paper- Pick Your Poison (124001) in the Holiday Mini that came out on September 1.
Until next time!

Triple Punch

The new MINI is out today and you can feel free to order from it! (right side-bar)
Don't you just love this little stamp? It is one of Stampin' Up's single stamps - Triple Treat Flower which means you can use 3 (yes, three) punches to achieve a great look. (Item # 122909)
We made these birthday/anniversary calendars at a recent workshop so I decorated it with these colorful little flowers! I had to use the stamp as soon as I opened it!
Until next time!
