Work Bench Card Holder

I purchased this tutorial from Lorri Heiling. Is it not the cutest way to give a gift card from Home Depot or Lowes! It is so neat. I made this one for a friend of mine. Doesn't have to be for Christmas - great for birthday, shop teacher, Father's Day, etc. The little drawer opens to display the card.
Please check out her blog for more patterns.
Until next time!

Christmas Jingle Album

WOW this is the kit that I won from Sunny Stampin' Inc (Andrea Walford) and the Paper Crafter's Library. I participated in the Makeover Monday a few weeks ago. Life just caught up with me and I was just able to complete the project. I was so honored and excited to win such a great prize!
I must tell you - The instructions were SUPERB and very EASY to follow. The kit was complete to make this great Christmas Album and believe me I will be making more for other occasions. I think this kit is still available on Andrea's website, so check it out! It is gorgeous and would make a great gift for ANYONE on your list!!
Until next time!

Another CASE

I made the turkey last year but wanted to make one to keep in my stash so here it is another great creation by Kim Score!
A miscellaneous picture page of Jacob for his album. He was singing and eating M&M's, one of his favorite foods but I have to convince him it is NOT a food Group!
The ice skating card is too cute as well. I have seen these skates several places on the 'net and had to make a pair using the stocking punch from SU! The strings are the white baker's twine and I used the silver pen to color the blades.
Have a great day and it is beautiful here in Virginia!
Until next time!

Quick, CASE'd Shares

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family! Today is the beginning of Left-Over Day! and believe me we have lots! So I decided to share some CASE'd creations I have been working on.
Pop-Up Tag by Kim Score! The URL has a complete tutorial on how to make this gorgeous little tag. I have finally decided it's all in the details and I am going to work on some tags this year. A beautiful tag makes the gift!
Coffee Gift Card Holders: These were created by Roxy Sommerville! What a neat way to give a coffee gift card! Hers are a bit different but the idea is the same. Mine will fit a standard envelope from mailing.
Plastic Frame: This frame was featured on Monica Weaver's Blog a few weeks ago. She uses lots of metal sheets (she sells them online) and WOW what a dress up for a picture. Attach a magnet and makes a great gift or for your own refrigerator!
Now it's time to get inky and CREATIVE!
Until next time!

Lego Card

Oh I did not realize it has been almost a week since I have posted. I've been busy cleaning and preparing for the Thanksgiving Holiday! I have worked on some projects but none completed to share. I want to take time to THANK all my customers and followers for all your support and hope to continue to inspire you! Wishing each and all a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with friends, food & fellowship!
I have been looking around for some juvie cards to make. I used Jacob on the Envelope just to put a name (it's not really his birthday)! Anywho… Is this not the cutest lego card … the Yellow Lego slips over the red one just like IRL! You can’t see the envelope well since it scanned white on white but I made that to fit the card since it is small! I saw this on Lynn Pratt’s website and she saw one in Splitcoast Stampers!

CASE'd Containers

I saw these two items on other blogs some time ago and can't remember where! They are both made using the Fancy Favor Box Die for the base; the penguin, Basic Black and the Santa, Real Red using two die cuts. What a great way to give that special gift! (teachers, mail person, man in brown, etc.) If these are your designs I would be glad to give you credit and add a link to my post. They are just too cute to pass up!
Until next time!

Another Recycle

What a neat Thanksgiving place card holder and treat! I used the scallop from the Perfect Pennants Die for the base. I glued the retired DSP to it and then ran it thru the Big Shot. After covering the empty roller from SU's mini glue dots, I used tombo adhesive to glue it to the base. You can put the person's name on the back of the little flag; fill with candy treats and VOILA' you have a neat placeholder for your friends and family!
Oh I used my digital download from MDS to make the labels for the nuggets!
Until next time!

The water bottle hanger is also from that CD. There is even a template for it. I however 'cheated'. Remember those door knob hangers? Well I have a stack of them so I used the hanger from the CD and adapted it to the door knob hanger pattern! RECYCLE!!! You're gonna LOVE all the different techniques and gift ideas (over 70) Until next time!

Large Muffin Holder

This was made using the Petal Cone SU Die. I cut 2 and 1/2 Cherry Cobbler pieces then trimmed off the pointed bottom, made some scores and folds and VOILA' a muffin/cupcake holder! Would be a nice gift for a co-worker, postal worker and even the 'man in brown'! Looks YUMMY!
I used retired paper to work out the kinks before making some more of these. I have to make tags for them too!
Until next time!

Scalloped Pencil Wrap

Is this not the neatest way to gift a .94 cent set of colored pencils?
I used retired SU paper and the Bigz Scallop Pennant Die from Stampin' Up. The flower was done using the Fancy Flower punch, 5 petal punch and 1/2" punch. Leaves were formed using the Blossom Petals Builder punch. All tied together with the 1 1/4" Cajun Craze ribbon!
Great gift.
Until next time!

Halloween Layout

It's been a long time since I did a packing tape transfer but the Trick or Treat turned out great! I used MDS to make the words and then used the packing tape method to add it to my page.
This is the layout we made at my Scrapbooking Club meeting last week and I had just the right amount of pictures to use on it. The kids went from church to a local nursing home to show off their costumes and bring some smiles to the residents. They handed out flowers to the patients and had a great time.
Packing tape method: Print your graphic or letters on a regular piece of computer paper using a laser printer (inkjets do not work). Run a piece of packing tape over top and soak in warm water for a few minutes and peel the paper off. The words or graphic stays put on the tape and when it dries, the tape is sticky again! Easy, peasy! (Remember packing tape is only 2" wide)
Until next time!

3D and Fancy Folds CD

This project is one featured on the Technique Junkie 3D and Fun Folds CD called "Table Treats Decoration". This series of decorations can be used for any theme; Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or like mine, summer picnic! The place cards are shaped like a watermelon, how fun is that? I used Domestic Goddess Designer Paper by Stampin' Up.
If you haven't purchased your 3D and Fun Folds CD, now's the time with over 70 great and fun projects I'm sure you'll love 'em all! If you are interested in the new CD you can order it by clicking on the PayPal icon on my left sidebar!

Octagonal Box

Good Morning Everyone! This is an octagonal box made use TWO milk carton die cuts. I used Just Eat Cake DSP and Peach Parfait cardstock. It is so cute and makes a great little gift box! I used the circle scissors to make two (2) 5" circles for the top and bottom and I cut the printed paper using the large scallop circle die!
Now go get inky!!!
PS I had to add the cutest picture of Jake sitting in the cabinet - his thinkin' spot!!! LOL
Until next time!

Photo Frame Note Pad

It's been a long time since you have seen this online! Using the plastic 4x6 photo acrylic frames you can make this little desktop post it holder with a matching pen. I am trying to use some of the things from my stash. This will make a nice Hostess gift or a small teacher's gift!

Challenge 199

I made this card using MDS from Stampin' Up. There is a little glitter on the snowman which does not show in the scan. As most of you know Mary Jo Price-Williams has a Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge every week. This is the first time in ages I have been able to play along. This was a quick and simple card but effective! Love the Sketch Mary Jo.

Letters to Santa

I made this card using 1/4 sheet of paper from the Letters to Santa DSP collection! It will fit a 5.5 x 5.5 SU envelope; was very quick and easy. I added the felt mittens from SU and a couple of rhinestones in the mddle. The mat is Riding Hood Red.

Andrea's Monday Challenge

Andrea Walford challenges you to do a MAKEover Monday is brought to you by Andrea Walford & her Paper Crafter's Library. Each week she posts a project from which you take your inspiration and develop a project of your own. You make a project from your own stash based on the creation she posts!
This week's project is a Wine Bottle Tag made by Sharon Harnist for Ellen Hutson’s The CLASSroom blog. I made mine using Stampin' Up's Letters to Santa MDS download. The base is Old Olive with a touch of Real Red.
What a fun project and I love the challenge!
