Lollipop Flowers

I made these for my step-granddaughter's Sweet Sixteen! Tanya Bell in Australia made one of these but it had 40 lollipops. She used some lollipop you can only get there so I used dum-dums and they worked well. I hope she likes it ‘cause I could not think of anything else to make her. It is really cute in real life. I found out her baby brother (Jacob) ate most of the lollipops so I'm not sure how much she enjoyed it!
It is made using the Daisies #2 Stampin Up die. I did cover a styroball in the can to snchor the lollipops.
Until next time!

A-maz-ing card!

I am sorry I have not posted in almost a week but I have been sick! I thought I was on the mend during the middle of the week but it just put me back in bed for two more days!
I finally played with the new Stampin' Up Maze Game! This is such a fun set and makes great cards for kids and I think the adults even love it! Welll I will admit I did loose one of the little balls so you do have to be careful putting the back on. The Maze Game (124332) and Totally Amazing Stamp Set (125507) is on Page 31 of your Mini Occasions Catalog and you get 4, yes 4, games for only $2.50.
Until next time!

Lovely as a Tree

I love this set and it is just so versatile! This will probably what it will look like in the morning. We are supposed to get our first snowfall. It was such a fun and easy card. I used Crumb Cake for the base and stamped Lovely as a Tree on Whisper White and added a tad of blue for the sky and snow. Enjoy!
Until next time!

Lollipop, Lollipop, OH...

Item #125492
You're So SWEET (Item #125492) from the Occasions Mini, just fit this card. Paper Crafts magazine had one similar to this in the new issue. I thought, hummmm, nice and easy kid's card!!! WELLLLL have you ever tried to put mulitple circles in a circle? It's not so easy but it was fun and I love the way it turned out.
I added in another card made with the same stamp set that we are making Saturday at our monthly Stamp A Stack!
Until next time!

Two CASE'd Cards

I needed two Sympathy cards and I love the simplicity of this design by Kris McIntosh. Thanks, Kris for the inspiration! she used a lighter hand when sponging but they still turned out OK.
By the way, hope everyone had a great Valentine's with lots of HUGS-KISS-ILY (hugs, kisses and I Love You's)! According to 'Marriage Alliance' you should practice HUGS-KILL-ILY at least four times a day!

12" Clothespin

I made this on a suggestion from one of my customers. She said she needed something to hold her recipes up high so she could read them while mixing the ingredients and what a perfect fit! This is a 12" clothespin covered with Domestic Goddess Designer Paper and the words 'My Recipe!' Too cute and she was so happy!
Makes a great gift item and what possibilities for the pins!
Until next time!

Daisies for D....

We have a local (family) restaurant that uses SPOONS taped to pens to keep patrons from sticking them in their pockets (tacky, tacky) so I made these to take to them! These are made from the Daisy Die #2 and originally posted on Maria Vanderform's blog.
These Shasta daisies (I think that's what they are) are so pretty and so easy to make. I just love them. You can use for pencil or pen toppers or make a flower arrangement with them. Oh did you notice I put them in my 'hillbilly' wine glass! ;-)
Until next time!

Two Valentines

These were inspired by ones I saw on the Martha Stewart Show yesterday and of course, they are Stampin' Up products. I did print the greeting on the computer. The birdhouse was paper pieced and I used the smallest Framelit heart for the opening. The Real Red background was embossed with the strip embossing folder. The Bird Builder and the Owl Builder punch was used on both cards. Enjoy!
BTW I have had a few new subscribers in the past week or so and I wanted to thank everyone that follows my blog regularly. Please be sure to leave comments - they are so inspiring!
Until next time!

Angry Birds

These were inspired by a post I saw on Patty Bennett's blog. I found the picture of these on the Internet and had to make one of each! Such fun!
I made the card using Concord Crush, Sweet Shop 125408 and Bordering on Romance Stamp Set 125482 from the new mini Occasions catalog.
After my big computer scare last night, I worked all night getting it back up and running. My advice for today is BACKUP, BACKUP and BACKUP (and I should know better). I only had an issue with Outlook but my 'life' is in there! It's working now but I made 2 backup's and printed all the info on paper for a hard copy! Whew... glad that is over!
Now on to more fun things, like stampin'
Until next time!

Pencil Valentine

I made this little case to hold 4 Valentine Pencils! After covering it with Cherry Cobbler paper I cut some hearts from the Heart to Heart Punch and our Sizzlit Embossed Heart Die and added them for embellishments! Happy Valentine's Day

Two Birthday Cards

WOW I did not realize it had been so long since I posted. My time flies! I made these two Birthday cards today using both sets for the first time.
One card used the Sweet Cake (125492) and the Sweet Shop Designer Paper. On the other I used the I Dig You set for a little boy. The dirt piles are punched from the Cupcake Punch. I promise to try and post more often.
Until next time!
