Card Holder

This neat card holder was made using one piece of Whisper White for the cover and I used ONLY the Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set 126006 throughout along with all the new InColors! Oh don't you just LOVE the new SU Stamp Pads. They are sooooo much easier to use and makes such a solid, sharp stamped image. I know, I know...

The inside pocket is a paper 1/4" paper card mailer that I had on hand and I filled it with 4 full-size greeting cards. The 'For You' sentiment is from the Bitty Banners Stamp Set 126257 and cut with the matching Framelits.129267. It's all wrapped up with the 3/8 Stitched Ribbon Primrose Petal 12844.

I used SU's score board and made a little envelope for your stamps! One feature, the cards are flat so extra postage is not required.

Each card was stamped with the front image inside as well and on the envelope to match and each card was accented with the matching stitched ribbon. Just a fun 3D project and makes a great little remembrance gift!

Comfy Chair Case

I case'd this from a post Jackie Topa's Blog. She is so talented with the punches! I am not sure what she used for the back of the chair but I used 1/2 of the petal cone die; 2 large ovals for the arms, modern label for the cushion and punched a snippet out of the bottom for decoration using the curly label punch!  I just loved the chair! Thanks for looking and stop by often. I have no Dad stamps either so I used a piece of the retired wood sheet and stamped DAD on it with Cajun Craze.

Until next time!

Misc. Sneak Peeks!

I don't think I have posted these cards.

The bottom one has the new stamp 'Tweet Leaves' 128111 and one of the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 127820 from Stampin Up in the new Holiday Mini! Some of you have probably received the new mini in the mail. With all the new and wonderful items, there is just so much to choose from! Stampin' Up has outdone itself! Framlits are the new Window Frames Collection 129021.

The middle two cards were inspired by the ones in the new Stampin' Success magazine. They show one done two ways, one simple and one dressed up! The embossing folder on card two is also from the new mini!  Window Frames Collection 129021 for cutting the sentiment and framing it. The dressed up card was also embossed using the new Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder127819..

Card one I just made after finding the white Extra Large Oval 119859 oval on my table which fits perfectly. The matting for the oval is done using 3 of the Apothecary Accents Framelits 127003 placed to 'frame' the oval punchie! The oval was embossed using the Designer Frames Folder 123130.

Too Much Stuff...

As with everyone, I have too much stuff and running out of space. Stampin Up has started making Framelits to match a lot of their stamp sets so I came up with this idea for storage. This way when I want to stamp I KNOW there is a Framelit to use for cutting.

I plan on covering the magnetic strip with Designer Paper today to add a little pizzaz and find a way to mark the outside spine so I know, on sight, there is a Framelit to match!

One of these is a Sneak Peek from the new mini catalog available August 1. Oops...sorry but you'll have to wait till August!

Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Challenge 179

I know, I know I am a week LATE! I had this scheduled and for some reason it did not publish! So I am sending it out late. The Challenge 179 was to use Paper Piercing on your project.

I used Peach Parfait (retired) and Wild Wasabi for this Happy Birthday Card! I pierced around the inside and out of the Framelit with SU’s new piercing templates (126187 $7.95) and around the inside of the scallop oval.

This has been a crazy week! Over 1/2 the residents here still are without power and NO A/C!

Until next time!
