CD Clock

This is a clock I made for the Seaside Crafters Group. I embossed and brayered the CD and stamped Lovely As  a Tree (127795) using Stazon Ink. If you have not purchased that stamp, I suggest you do...it will be a Stampin' Up Classic! Great addition to your craft room/area and makes a super gift.

This works great using the printable CD's and you can also get ones you can light scribe using your computer DVD player (new DVD players)

Frightening Feline

This neat Halloween card was done using the Frightening Feline 128105 and cut out with the Window Frame Framelits matted with Basic Black and Basic Gray cardstock. The Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Paper was printed from My Digital Studio 2+ (126906 - Item # incase you don't have MDS). Base card was Pumpkin Pie matted with Basic Black and Basic Gray accented using the new Basic Gray Satin Stripped ribbon 127837; buttons non-SU. The background was embossed with the Spider Web Embossing Folder.

I know it seems a bit early but it will be here before you know it! then Thanksgiving and Christmas all too soon. So let's get stampin'

Glittery Santa

This cute little Santa was inspired by one Valita make for her blog (Valita's Fresh Folds)! He is so cute and I really enjoyed using all that glitter. He is such a fun Santa! Hers was a little different but I did the best I could. He's still CUTE! He's a tall drink of water so he fits a #10 Business Envelope!

PS She has an instructional Video on her Blog!

Toxic Treats

Playing with MDS 2+ I printed the paper for this Toxic Treat Box as well as the Witch from Toxic Treats! The catalog item #'s (in case you don't use MDS)  Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP 126906 - Toxic Treat Stamp Set 127901.

I cut the box from Fancy Favor Bigz Die 115965 and used the 2nd Labels Framelit 125598 to cut the opening for the vellum printed Witch! You can fill the box with treats or a battery operated tea light. The treats are all tied up using the nfew 1/2" Strip Satin Ribbon! Too cute!

If you haven't tried My Digital Studio 2+ - now's the time. You can try it FREE for 30 Days - Click Here for details!

Challenge 187

Challenge 187
Too Cool To Use!

I love the new Christmas Designer Paper and the color combination!
Ingredients:
Merry Minis - 127919
Winter Memories 127937
Scallop Square 119884
Punch Pack 126882
1" Square punch 124094

This week's challenge is one that really hits home for me. Like many others, I am a craft product HOARDER!  I order stuff because it's sooo cute or sooo pretty, and then I never open it because I don't want to use it all up and not have it when the "perfect project" comes along.

So this week, that EXACTLY what we challenge you to do!  Go get that sparkly paper, or those expensive buttons, or the super cute ribbon you ordered and now haven't used.  It's time to use it!

You know the drill:  cards, scrapbook pages, altered items, MDS projects, or anything else you can think of is ALWAYS WELCOME!

Need some inspiration?  Check out the design team's samples HERE.

Then when you get your project created, upload it HERE so we can all see your fabulous work!

DON'T FORGET!  WE CHOOSE A WINNER AT THE END OF EACH WEEK, AND THAT PERSON'S PROJECT WILL BE FEATURED ON THE GROUP HOMEPAGE FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK!  WE'D LOVE TO SHOW OFF YOUR WORK-BUT YOU HAVE TO PLAY TO BE FEATURED!

Until next time!

Flower Tag Punch

I saw this cute flower somewhere and I lost the blog address ... it was made from the Tag Punch and I used the Petite Tag Punch that is now retired! The base card is Calypso Coral with a hint of Island Indigo. International Bazaar is the DSP under the flower (126920). I used InColor DSP (122384) for the flower and sentiment  from Wacky Wishes (hostess - 126412). Apothacary Accents Framelit 127003 was used to cut out and frame the sentiment!

Next time I should have stamped the Happy Birthday in Island Indigo.

Another Push Pop

These little plastic push pop containers seem to be the going thing! My cyber friend, Regina at Workin' out the Inks blog, made this Ssanta push pop! I made one for your Halloween treats! I wanted to share both our 'creations' with you. They are great for craft fairs, school treats, party treats and can be used over and over!

Too cute!

Thanksgiving Centerpiece

What a great way to welcome 'Family' at Thanksgiving! These letters were part of an experiment from Seaside Crafters and I thought I would share them on my blog. They make a good Thanksgiving Centerpiece for the middle of your table or your buffet sidebar.

I love the Orchard Harvest DSP 126895, Cannery Set Framelits 127822 and Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set 126692; it just matches so well. AND Stampin' Up hit a homerun by bundling the Framlit & Stamp Set at a big savings - 129944. Hope you like it and these products can be found on Page 29 of the Occasions Mini Catalog!

A Few Shares...

Since I did not post much last week I thought I would share this with you.

Every month Technique Junkies has a Just One Swap and this month I was fortunate enough to be partnered with Denise Taylor from New Zealand! She sent me this beautiful card made using the "embossed puzzle" technique featured in the August/September 2012 Technique Junkie Newsletter. If you have never investigated this fabulous blog and considered joining, please go HERE and check it out. Thank you, Denise for such a lovely card.

This was for LAST week's Late Night Stampers Challenge. I shared on the message board but neglected to post to my blog. The challenge was to make anything 'Back to School'. This is a notebook covered for your notes or just a journal of your school year!

Let's get stampin'!

Inspiration!

Inspiration can come from anywhere! A friend of mine brought me this catalog ad because it inspired her. So the card I made was inspired by the ad! I love the color combo of Early Expresso and Baja Breeze with a touch of Very Vanilla. The 'weeds' were embossed with white embossing powder and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes 127802 (I love that set and a must have for any stamper) Butterflies brought to you by Stampin' Up's Beautiful Wings Sizzlit 118138.

I am sorry I have not posted much this week but LIFE has gotten in the way! I hope to do a little better. Stop by often and get stampin'!

Challenge 186 - Back to School

This is a printers tray painted black and decorated with the Stampin' Up Storytime 126907 Designer paper which was a PERFECT fit. I made this for my grandson who is not in school yet but will be one day and it is a great way to display events, occasions and special times at school. Back to School is the Challenge 186 for this week at Late Night Stampers.

I used little wooden books, punchies, and lots of 3D items. Enjoy!

Christmas Treat

Another treat made using your old button & brad containers from Stampin' Up. I made this one for Christmas to give all your kids (and adults)! Just drill a small hole in the side of the container,  insert a Wilton Candy stick and put a 'blog' of hot glue on the inside to secure the stick and VOILA' perfect for filling with Christmas goodies!

Your 2 1/2" circle punch (120906) is a perfect fit and then build your decoration from there. Add some ribbon for accent and there you have it, such a neat treat! I just love the new SU sweater trim!
