Misc... Jake

Several years (lots) ago Cindy Bundy did a Scrapbook Workshop in NC where we made loads of 12x12 pages (blank, of course) so I finally decided I had better use them! The ingredients are all retired now but the layouts are still good!

These were several candid pictures I took of Jacob over a two week period. He was playing pirate, with cars, fishing (in a bowl), etc., and just hangin' out. Surprisingly Marina Mist matched perfectly the Stampin' Up blue we used at the time. Hummmm...

This page is from a 'Cowgirl' Birthday party he attended and we just didn't get any pictures! I know he had a good time riding horses, eating smores and just being with friends.

This is the birthday card I made the guest of honor, Baylee. (digi image)

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time!

Valita's Motorcycle

This great masculine card was on Valita's Fresh Folds blog. I hadn't checked out her blog in a long time and was so surprised to find this to make. She has complete instructions for it and it uses all Stampin' Up punches! What a neat masculine card!

Check it out! I didn't have the right embossing folder she used so I just printed a piece of paper that looked like a starburst! Again, Valita, a WOW project! Thanks for sharing your talent! BTW her's is lots better!

Mouse Trap Memo Holder

From the studio of Connie & Mary here is my take on their Mouse Trap Memo Holder. Complete instructions can be found on their stampin' blog. (CLICK HERE) They used 5 traps but I didn't have enough so three will do! Be sure and check out their blog.

It was just so cute I could not resist. Give it a try. It is useful as well as very decorative. It sticks nicely on your refrigerator for notes, keys & etc. Would make a nice housewarming gift!

Until next time!

Cupcake Holder

I can see lots of possibilities for this Cupcake holder. It is a Silhouette cut but very useful. I KNOW, I KNOW it's a candle not a real cupcake but I have customers that love to 'poke' things to see if they are real so I found this candle does the trick!

I used a 4" coaster covered with 'Riding Hood Red' (retired) and Stampin' Up's 4" doily.

Oldie, but Goodie...

The stippled rose (retired) is an old, but goodie stamp. I used it for the focal point on this all occasion card.

Recipe:
Venetian Romance DSP - 130144
Island Indigo Card Base
Regal Candy Dots 130932
Deco Labels Collection 130102
Adorning Accents Embossing Folder 125601
Adorning Accents Edgelit 125595
Hardware Clips 129964

Coloring by Copics but you can achieve a similar look using SU markers. I used an outside the box technique from Technique Junkies. Thanks for stopping by, please leave a little 'love' (comment).  Have a great day!

Flip Flops

These are so cute! I cut mine on my Silhouette but my DD cut hers with her Cricut. I do like her style better than mine; just wanted to share with you. This makes a cute juvie card!

The top picture I made using Birthday Basics 130145 with Raspberry Ripple card and the Bring on the Cake birthday sentiment. My DD's card is 5x5 square. They are so cute. TFS, Charlie! Great Job!

New Pop N Cuts Die

Using retired cardstock I made this card just to try the new Pop N Cuts Label - 130160 and by the way the Deco Labels Framlits will fit the pop up on this die! (added feature)

Natural Composition Special Designer Paper 126917 is the base for this card. I used a tidbit of 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trip - Brown Sugar 130022 to accent and a couple of strips of Epic Day This and That Washi Tape 131269. Just a fun card!

Recycle!

This was a spice jar I saved to make 'something'! I have been cleaning and the problem is you try and clean then you run across something you were saving. You then have to stop cleaning and complete the project. So here it is for today...

Love the new 3/4" Chevron ribbons from Stampin' Up found on pg. 173. The top has a row of Delicate Details Lace Tape 139066 with a snappy Butterfly on top (Itty Butterfly 129406 and Elegant Butterfly 127526) Three little pearls accent the butterfly (Basic Jewels, Pearls 119247). The tag is from Label Love 130622 and punched with the coordinating Artisan Label punch 130920, tied with Baker's Twine (pg. 173).

I filled the jar with Jelly Beans and the best part, you can open only 1/2 of the top to dispense the goodies! Don't ya love recycling!

Create a Pretty Package

What a great way to create a pretty package! Stampin' Up has two new ways to accomplish this - easy, peasy!

This little gift bag was made using the new Tag a Bag Gift Bags 131370 and the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit 130153. I added a pom pom I made using the Calypso Coral Baker's Twine 125573 and a couple of pieces of Epic Day Washi Tape 131269 to top it off! The cute little clothespin comes in the accessory kit.

Challenge 224

Father's Day! This week's challenge is all about the guys!  We want to see all your Father's Day and masculine projects!  Cards, Scrapbook Pages, whatever you've created for the guys in your life!

This is an over-sized envelope, sealed then cut across the end and a candy bar inserted with a gift card attached! I thought it was a neat idea. I have seen it other places so I can't take full credit for it.

The tape measure gift card holder was fun to make. I purchased the pattern from someone and I don't remember who now. It's been a year or two. The work bench is a gift card holder as well. They are so cute and make a super masculine gift.

To check out what the design team has created to inspire you, and to upload your creations, just click HERE to check out the LNS Challenge site.  Can't wait to see what you've come up with!

Until next time!

Organizing...

I have been trying to get organized and some cleaning done - out with the old and in with the new! I bound 12 over-sized envelopes together to store the Paper Piercing Packs. I love it. It stands up on my shelf like a little book and all are together in one place. I even made room for expansion! Imagine that...

Each envelope has a picture of the Pack and the item # for easy ordering.

Here's a quick card I made using some scrap die cuts I found while I was cleaning! Turned out kinda cute.

Thanks for stopping by!

New Clear Cases

I just love these new cases for storage. The larger ones I used to store all the current Stampin' Up Embossing Folders. I made one for my Baker's Twine & Linen Thread (perfect fit).  The smaller ones are great for your new Stampin Up candy dots, washi tape, re-inkers and much more. I used one of the smaller ones for my Gelatos (not-SU). Washi also perfectly fits your old brad boxes!

So many possibilities. Order yours today. Email or online - Hostess Code - KR4JP9JT - (12755 - 4 full wood cases) (127752 - 4 - 1/2 wood cases)

Josie

Josie at two months. The bottom picture she is laid back in PawPaw's arms sleeping away! Don't you wish you could sleep like that? I do!

The saftey pin is from her baby shower and I found the cute little flowers in my stash! This is for her 8x8 scrapbook and a retired SU Simply Scrappin' Kit.
