Floral Purse Card Holder

This project was the Bonus Feature over at Craft Project Central. There were cards to match for 'easy' giving. I decided to make the purse for a small gift box! Christy did a great job creating this project. Be sure to check it out and subscribe to February and you will receive full detailed instructions!

Thank you, Christy for such a cute idea! I was a bit 'lazy' and used the same colors but this would be perfect in any color combination! Leave her some 'love' (comments) for such a great project.

Until next time!

Masculine Card

Well my computer has decided to go 'south' today. I have a program I can't get to run and I NEED it! Anyway... thought I would share this card before I take it down and off to get it fixed.

I made this using the 'fog' technique and at this moment I can't think of who does it... Oh Porch Screen Creations! Mine is not as good as she does it but... had to give it a try.

This would make a great Masculine card for birthday, retirement - I did not add a sentiment but will later.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is going better than mine!

Until next time!

Retro Fresh

Here are two cards I made yesterday while trying to clean my craft room! My table was so piled up I could not find a thing.

I really like this Retro Fresh Designer Paper but had not used it. Love the color combination and have seen lots of cards made with it on the internet so I gave it a go.

For some reason the Tangerine Tango looks red on the scan but it's a computer thing! I used the Retro Fresh DSP along with some Baked Brown Sugar & Coastal Cabana. Also the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die 132965 and the On Film Framelits Dies 132969. Remember to use a piece of waxed paper between the die and the cardstock (Hexagon Hive) and your paper just pops right off the die.

Stamp Set: Peachy Keen 133113 and the Petite Petals Punch 133322 and Petite Petals Stamp Set 133155.

Until next time!

Wineglass Lamp!

Love the new Vellum paper. It makes a neat lampshade for a wineglass! Give it a try.
I did add a little bow around the stem with the Gold Baker's Twine. Too cute. Add a battery operated Tea Light.

Building Block Card

Finally got a chance to make a Building Block Card. We'll be making this one in our March Technique class. It is so neat and fits a regular envelope. The original was introduced by Laura Lipe. Again I love the Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper; very Springy!

You can use GET WELL, BABY BOY, BABY GIRL, LOVE YOU, GOOD JOB, WELL DONE, NOEL/JOY. I am sure you can think of others.

Until next time!

Challenge 242 - Emboss (wet or dry)

Challenge 242
Embossing

This week we thought we would so some embossing.  You do either dry embossing with our folders or wet embossing with our embossing powders. Thanks to my cyber friend, Regina Andari, I made this card without using the SU Framelits! What a smart idea. Hop on over to her blog for the instructions (HERE)! She is such a clever lady.

I made this deer card for a friend's birthday. The circle is embossed as well as the background.

Craft Project Central Challenge 32

Love the Swing Label punch from Stampin' Up. The Coffee stamps too are just up my alley. I cut an extended side on the card so when you open it up there's lots of room to write a message and stamp a sentiment.

Label Card Thinlits Die 133479
Perfect Blend Stamp Set 131392
Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set 130517

Hop on over the Craft Project Central and check out all the great samples. This month's challenge is by the very talented guest designer, Yapha.

Hope you like it.

A Different Kind of Card...

By the way did u notice my Blog Header. I made that yesterday (to much snow to go out) using Patty Bennett's Blog Header video using MDS. It was really easy and quick. I plan to make some more soon.

This is not my 'style' but I kinda like it. I am not really a grunge person but you have to set out from time to time.
I love the Petite Petal flowers and coordinating punch. Being able to emboss the doily was news to me and it was quite easy. If you haven't tried it, give it a go. This fits the Challenge 242 for Late Night Stampers - EMBOSS! You still have time to play along.

Until next time!

Milk Carton Mailbox

While surfing around the 'net I saw this and just had to make one. It is so cute. The original one was posted by Betsy Johnson. I can't find her blog but when I do I will post her addie.

Just use your Milk Carton die from Stampin Up. Fill with goodies. What a neat Valentine for that someone special OR decorate for Christmas and put in your mailbox for your man in blue!

Lollipop holder

By folding 8-1/2" strip in half and cutting it using the Two Tag Die, you can make this cute little lollipop holder. I added the die cut Doily and sentiment. Too cute to pass up.

Sorry I have been a little absent posting to my blog but I have been exceptionally busy this past week and hope by next week it slows down. We are bracing for 8 - 20" of snow tomorrow night so we'll see. I just pray we don't lose power. That's what is so bad but we do have a wood stove so we will be warm.

Until next time!
